We create these kits in our own upholstery shop from domestically sourced carpet. The center tunnel is supplied flat and does require more fitting, but this allows for a more original look.
Made of high quality cut pile automotive carpet, which is very similar to the factory original. All carpet sections are finished as original with heavy padding, bound edges and hardboard panel backing where fitted. Installation hardware is included, so adhesive, trim tools, care and time are all that is needed to create a result you can be proud of. As replacement rubber floor and sill mats for 1962-76 models are not readily available, kits include carpet for these areas. The GT kits also include material for the rear quarters, rear deck, and rear seat back.
MGC Note: The 1968-80 MGB carpet kits can be fitted with good results.
