Harnessing the power of our groundbreaking CrossLink technology, the Diode Dynamics SS5 Sport Universal CrossLink 3-Pod Lightbar revolutionizes LED lighting by seamlessly connecting eight SS5 Sport LED pods to form a single, high-performance lightbar. With the industry’s highest output intensity among 5″ LED pods, this kit showcases the pinnacle of functionality and innovation. The SS5 Sport LED pods included in this kit are meticulously engineered for optimal performance. Equipped with patented technology and custom-engineered TIR optics, these pods deliver unparalleled functionality in a rugged and durable package. Unlike traditional optics that suffer from internal light loss and glare, the custom-engineered TIR optic in the SS5 Sport collects and directs all the emitted light precisely where it’s needed, significantly reducing glare and enhancing overall efficiency. Additionally, while other options experience light output loss through outer lenses, the custom-molded TIR optic in the SS5 Sport serves as both the optic and main lens, resulting in greater efficiency and higher light output. Installation is a breeze with the SS5 Sport LED pods. Each pod features a custom-molded DT type Deutsch-style connector on the back, and the kit includes DT splitters to connect the pods together. Additionally, a 6″ pigtail with bare leads is provided for convenient wiring. You can wire the pods yourself, use an off-the-shelf Deutsch DT-sized wire harness, or opt for the Diode Dynamics wire harness.

Thanks to the patented and innovative technology, coupled with high-intensity LED chips, the SS5 Sport LED pods in the Diode Dynamics SS5 Sport Universal CrossLink 3-Pod Lightbar boast exceptional intensity surpassing other LED pods that rely on basic optics or reflectors with standard outer lenses. In addition to its outstanding performance, these LED pods feature a selectable backlight with eight vibrant color options. This feature adds a stylish accent or enhances visibility when the main beam is not in use. Selecting your desired backlight color is hassle-free, simply alternate the power on and off without the need for complex programming or controllers. The patent-pending CrossLink technology allows you to effortlessly link up to eight SS5 Sport pods to create your personalized lightbar. Unlike other options on the market that require multiple pieces for linking pods, this lightbar has a single-piece CNC aluminum link. This design offers extreme rigidity while allowing full adjustability for both straight and curved configurations. Moreover, every SS5 Sport pod is equipped with inset threaded mounts, eliminating the need for a special linking version, ensuring a seamless integration into your setup. The SS5 Sport’s combo pattern incorporates both Driving and Flood optics, making it ideal for versatile use. This pattern illuminates a focused 30×20 Driving beam for long-distance visibility, while simultaneously filling the surrounding area with a wide 70×30 degree flood pattern. The combination of driving and flood optics provides abundant light for every situation. This kit comes with the yellow color LED pods that have a 3000K color temperature, delivering high contrast in adverse weather conditions or a distinctive look on the road. Rest assured that all Stage Series LED lighting undergoes rigorous testing to ensure long-term operation and reliability. These tests encompass extreme temperature variations from -40 to 185 degrees.
