Description
For many years Moss carried forged steel crankshafts for the T-Series which were excellent and kept many cars on the road. We’ve now undertaken the next generation of crankshafts with some changes. These new crankshafts start from a billet of EN40B chromium molybdenum steel alloy, and are machined in England on state of the art CNC machines to the specifications of the original MG blueprints. Then the bearing journals are carefully polished before the crank is hardened and tempered to a T condition, giving it a tensile strength up to 1,000 N/mm. Finally the crankshafts are balanced and Nitrided, which is a type of case hardening. The end result is this crankshaft that will provide a rock solid foundation for your engine.
