For those that have removed the factory VGT style turbocharger in your 6.7L Cummins, you may have noticed that your exhaust brake is gone as well. Thankfully, BD Diesel has a solution, the BD Electronic Inline Exhaust Brake. This brake installs in your 4″ or 5″ exhaust and utilizes the factory turbocharger connector and factory in dash button. With up to 150 retarding HP, this brake does not utilize air compressors or air lines and requires less maintenance compared to conventional air style brakes. BD’s exclusive Variable Orifice Technology creates uniform controlled pressure regulation through the RPM range, for reliable consistent engine braking.
