Description
Whether you’d like to add a supplementary fan to your Austin Healey’s fresh air system, install a radio, power up some halogen headlamps, or simply upgrade your charging systems long term durability, converting your Healey from a generator to an alternator will be essential. Our complete alternator conversion kit makes that a simple process. This kit includes the lightweight aluminum mounting bracket/front side cover, fan belt, 45-amp alternator with cooling fan and pulley, all the necessary fittings, and a set of installation instructions.
Note: A LED bulb should not be used for the red generator/alternator light on the dash. Using one may cause a faulty charging system.
