Description
This is a nicely machined period accessory that was popular when the cars were new. The adjustable oil pressure regulator will fit any TC, TD, TF oil pump. It will work with both the early remote oil filter or the later integral oil filter.
Because this replaces the original pressure relief valve under the oil pump, it will not interfere with the engine stabilizer bar, and installation is a snap. Simply remove the old cap and replace it with the new adjustable valve, re-using the washer, spring and ball.
Rotating the brass plunger clockwise will increase the oil pressure relief spring preload, which in turn will increase the oil pressure. (It will not replace an overhaul if that is needed).
