Even with their redesigned looks, the base halogen taillights on the 2015 to 2017 F150s without Ford’s BLIS system aren’t much to write home about. Now you can grab an updated look for your F150’s taillights and a bright, new appearance for your truck with Recon Lighting’s clear LED taillights for the 2015 to 2017 F150s. Each of these taillights has a clear lens and chrome housing with dual LED “C-Ring” strips and LED lighting for their signals that adds a unique look to your truck while helping you get an aggressive look in practically no time. The LED taillights drop right into place of stock halogen taillights on trucks not equipped with Ford’s BLIS system without modifications.
Clear Lenses with LED Signals and C-Strip Running Lights
Recon’s Clear LED Taillights preserve all of the function of your F150’s stock taillights, all while changing up their appearance for a unique and custom look for your F150. Instead of standard halogen bulbs, Recon’s taillights use a 3×4 grid of LEDs for your truck’s signaling, that’s complimented by a pair of diffused LED C-Strip running lights in each taillight. The taillights have clear lenses that that add a great look to your truck and go well with other polished or chrome parts. Each taillight accepts your truck’s factory reverse bulb, though they can also accept most aftermarket LED reverse lights. The lights drop into place of stock and come with installation instructions.
For F150s with Base Taillights Only: these taillights will only fit F150s with base incandescent taillights, and will not F150s with LED taillights or those equipped with Ford’s BLIS blind spot system.
Recon’s Warranty: Recon offers a 90-Day Limited Warranty for manufacturing defects, including condensation. These lights do have a breather vent that allows for pressure changes, which can trap some amount of moisture and cause condensation problems.
