Keeping your F150’s vital powertrain and driveline components safe from harm is absolutely essential when you head off into the wilderness, and RCI’s Full Skid Plate Package is one of the most effective ways to ensure you and your truck make it home safe. RCI’s Skid Plate Package includes a front skid plate for protecting your truck’s power steering assembly and engine oil pan, a transmission skid plate for protecting your transmission pan, and a transfer case skid plate for protecting your truck’s transfer case. RCI’s Complete Skid Plate package bolts right onto your F150 without any drilling, trimming or cutting using provided hardware and factory attachment points. The engine skid plate even has provisions for reaching your F150’s oil filter and drain plug, which means you don’t have to remove it for oil changes.
Thick and Strong Steel or Aluminum Construction
The RCI Full Skid Plate Package is extremely easy to install and is made out of thick, metal plate that keeps your truck’s powertrain and driveline parts safe from harm. The kit is manufactured out of 10-gauge mild steel with a corrosion-resistant black powder coat finish as standard. The skid plates bolt right onto your truck using hardware provided by RCI. The front engine skid plates replace the thin and ineffective stamped steel factory skid plate, and includes provisions for reaching your truck’s oil filter and engine drain plug for fluid changes. The skid plates come with installation instructions.Fuel Tank Skid Plate Not Included: this package does not include RCI’s Fuel Tank Skid plate, which can be purchased separately here. Air Dam Removal Required: the front skid plates require removal of your F150’s stock air dam for installation. Lift Kit Fitment: the engine skid plate sections may require custom modifications to work with some suspension lift kits. Bumpers, Bull Bars, and Grille Guards Fitment: the engine skid plates may not fit properly with aftermarket off-road bumpers that include their own skid plates, grille guards, or bull bars.
